l` The Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in the 2nd Floor
Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
Also present were Parks and Recreation Director Brad Reid and Administrative
Support Supervisor Cecilia Gandara
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:

1. Call To Order
Vice Chair Guignon called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.

Vice Chair Ed Guignon, Boardmember Lisa Montes, Boardmember
Melinda Melnick, Boardmember Lisa Dunham, Alternate Nick Paschal,
and Youth Advisor Sashank Kothamasu
2. Citizens' Forum:Citizen's should complete a Citizen's Appearance Form. Pursuant to
the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on
items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future
meetings.
Vice Chair Guignon advised that no one signed up to speak.

3. Consider Approval of MinutesJuly 10, 2017
A motion was made by Boartlmember Melnick, seconded by Boardmember
Montes, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an
unanimous vote.
Aye: 5 - Vice Chair Ed Guignon, Boardmember Lisa Montes, Boardmember
Melinda Melnick, Boartlmember Lisa Dunham, and Alternate Nick Paschal
4. Discussion related to business use of park areas for adult fitness related activities.
The Board and Parks and Recreation Staff discussed Ne business use of park
areas for adult fitness related activities. Item will be brought back next month
for further discussion.
5. Discussion regarding the Project Priority List.
The Board reviewed and discussed the projects listed on the Project Priority
List.
6. Youth Advisor's Report
Youth Advisor Kothamasu reported that he is putting the Dwell project on hold
due to school.

B. Project Update
A. Music Series this past Saturday was wall attended. Next Saturday's Music
Series performance will be by Live 80 at Old Town.
