The Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in the 2nd Floor
Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
Also present were Parks and Recreation Director Brad Reid and Administrative
Support Supervisor Cecilia Genders.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items

Chair Clark called the meeting to order at 6:33 pm.

2. Citizens' Forum: Citizen's should complete a Citizen's Appearance Form. Pursuant to
the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action on
items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at future
meetings.
Beth Reynolds, 193 Cedar Ridge Court, expressed her interest for a skate park
in Coppell.
Calvin Feaster, 305 Morning Mist, expressed his interestfor a skate park in
Coppell.
Jalli Bangs, 321 Morning Mist, expressed his interest for a skate park in
Coppell.
Douglas Donqscimento, 520 Ashford Drive, expressed his interest for a skate
park in Coppell.
Aiden McFarlane, 629 Inglenook Court, expressed his interest for a skate park
in Coppell.
Tiffany Wylie, Carrollton, TX, expressed her concerns regarding the quality of
the security cameras in the parks.
Scott Eppelman, 323 Walnut Grove Lane, expressed his interest for a skate
park in Coppell.
Scott Fester, 305 Morning Mist, expressed his interest for a skate park in
Coppell.
Nathan Eppelman, 323 Walnut grove Lane, expressed his interest for a skate
park in Coppell.
Nicholas Eppelman, 323 Walnut grove Lane, expressed his interest for a skate
park in Coppell.
Consider approval of minutes: January 8, 2018
A motion was made by Boardmember Corcoran, seconded by Vice Chair
Guignon, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an
unanimous vote.

Corcoran, Boardmember Ead Nesbib, Boardmember Man@ Rohe,
Boardmember Ead Rogers, and Boardmember Ashish Vaidya
Presentation by the Fire Department for proposed Fire Station #4 north
of Wagon Wheel park, east of elevated storage tank.
Kevin Richardson, Fire Chief, gave a presentation related to the proposed Fire
Station #4 that will be located north of Wagon Wheel Park.
Discussion and update related to the Project Priority List
The board and staff reviewed the project priority list and discussed the projects
listed.
Youth Advisor's Report
Youth Advisor, Nicole Smith, expressed her concern regarding safety in the
parking lot of The CORE at night. Youth Advisor, Joni Goh, mentioned she
would like to see more drinking fountains in the parks.
