The Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in the 2nd Floor
Conference Room at 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
Also present were Parks and Recreation Director Brad Reid and Administrative
Support Supervisor Cecilia Gentles.

Chair Clark called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm.

Citizens' Forum: Citizen's should complete a Citizen's Appearance Form. Pursuant
to the State Open Meetings Law, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action
on items not posted on the Agenda. Action on your statements can only be taken at
future meetings.
Nicole DONascimento, 520 Ashford Drive, spoke infavor of a skate park in
Coppell.
Lynn Houm,296 Dogwood Trail, spoke infavor of a skate park in Coppell.
Jackson Benge, 321 Morning Mist, spoke infavor of a skate park in Coppell.

3. Consider approval of minutes: February 5, 2018
A motion was made by Boardmember Corcoran, seconded by Boardmember
Vaidya, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carried by an
unanimous vote.

4. Discussion related to a skate park in Coppell
The Board discussed the need fora skate park in Coppell.
5. Manager's Report - Gary Decker
Gary Decker, Cemetery Manager, gave a presentation regarding the Rolling
Oaks Memorial Center's current activities and future development.
6. Update regarding the Trail Implementation Plan
John Elias, Special Projects Manager, gave a presentation related to the
Community -wide Trail Implementation Plan modifications.
7. Consider approval of the modifications to the Trail Implementation Plan.
A motion was made by Boardmember Corcoran, seconded by Boardmember
Nesbitt, that this agenda item be approved. The motion carded by an
unanimous vote.
