Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Coppell will
meet in a regular called session on Tuesday, September 9, 1986 at 7:30
p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 255 Parkway Boulevard. The
purpose of the meeting is to consider the following items:

Item 1: Mayor's report.
CITIZENS APPEARANCES
Item 2: Consider citizens who wish to speak before the City
Council.
STAFF REPORTS
Item 3: Appointment of auditing firm to perform the audit for
fiscal 1985-86.
Item 4: Consider approval of a contract with Dallas County for
Health Services.
Item 5: Staff report on agricultural property exempted from
taxation by the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
Item 6: Consider a proposal of a Resolution authorizing tha
reappointment of a member to the DART Board of Directors
and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
SPECIAL USE PERMIT
Item 7: Consider approval for a request from Connell Development
for a one (1) year extension to a Special Use Permit for
a Grocery Store, a Gasoline Service Station and an Auto
Laundry or Car Wash at the northwest corner of Sandy Lake
Road and Denton Tap Road.

Consider approval of a sign variance for Windance

Sign Ordinance on property located on the southwest
corner of Bethel School Road and Denton Tap Road.
Date of Planning and Zoning - July 24, 1986
Decision of Planning and Zoning - Approved for a period
of 6 months (5-0).
PLATTING ACTIONS - PRELIMINARY
Item 9: Consider approval of a preliminary plat for Advantage
Self Storage Company on property located on the south
corner at the intersection of Denton Tap Road and the St.
Louis Southwestern Railroad.
Date of Planning and Zoning - August 28, 1986
Decision of Planning and Zoning - Approval 3-0
with stipulations
Conform to chain link fence requirement.
Provide a rendering of the elevation view of the project,
looking east from Denton Tap.

OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS
September 9, 1986
The following items are hereby added to the regular called session of
the City Council of the City of Coppell to be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
on the 9th day of September, 1986 in the Council Chambers at the Coppell
Town Center at 255 Parkway Boulevard.

CONSENT AGENDA
Item 5A: Consider approval of payment of bills.
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
Item 6A: Consider a resolution authorizing street and storm drainage
improvements on Beltline Road providing for partial payment
of construction costs by assessment of abutting property
owners', affirming that an authorization was made for the
preparation of the cost of improvements as required by law
and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
Item 6B: Consider a resolution to approve the engineers report filed
by the consulting engineer for streets and storm drainage
improvements on Beltline Road north-south from I635 to
Beltline Road east-west, authorizing a benefit assessment
hearing to be held on October 7, 1986 and authorizing the
Mayor to sign.
Item 6C: Consider approval of an ordinance calling for a public
hearing on the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year
October 1, 1986 through September 30, 1987 (said budget
to include the expenditure of Revenue Sharing Funds)
