Mayor W. T. Cozby informed the Council that although
Mr. E.C. Gentry had submitted his resignation as Tax Assessor

minutes of that meeting stated only the following:
"Mr. Gentry stated that he would like Mr. Scott
to continue as Tax Collector. The Council agreed."

minutes so as to correctly reflect the action of the
Council.
