CM 1965-02-15STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The Town Council of the Town of Coppell, Texas, met in regular meeting on the 15th day of February, 1965, with the following members present, to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor W. H. Wilson, CouncilmAn C. T. Waters, Councilman B. J. Harwell, Councilman Cecil Dobecka, Councilman J. R. McDonald, Councilman E. C. Gentry., City Secretary Constituting a quorum where among the other proceedings had was the following: Mr. Jack Thompson appeared before the Council and stated that his building project had not matured except his own and consequently he would be unable to put in the 2" water main. He asked for permission to put in a 3/4" line of his own and place one meter at the main line at the road. Upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried permission was granted. The Council unanimously decided to buy four (4) copper yolks from Jack Thompson for the sum of $15.OO. Mr. Charles Brown appeared before the Council and requested that a street light be installed in front of his house .on Thweatt Rd. Upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried a street light was to be installed. The Council decided that the Bond election would be held on March 27, 1965. Upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried it was ordered that the election for Mayor and Councilmen be held on April 6, 1965. Upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council agreed to enter into a contract with the County of Dallas that this City would furnish fire protection and answer all fire calls in the area adjoining the corporate limits of this City. No further business being presented to the Council at this time, and upon a motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Council adjourned. PASSED AND APPROVED this 15th day of Feb. , 1965. W. T.
