COUNTY OF DALLAS
The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met August 7, 1967,
in regular meeting with the following members present to-wit:
W. T. Cozby, Mayor
Jim McGiboney, Councilman
Thomas Sisk, Councilman
Cecil Dobecka, Councilman
C. L. Plumlee, Jr., Councilman
W. H. Wilson, Councilman
Mr. Horace Self met with the Council to request a temporary
permit for a house trailer on his 5 acre tract on County Line
Road. Vote carried, 3 for 2 against, to grant a temporary
permit.
Mr. Tom Moore questioned the Council as to the water-sewage
plans and progress.
Larry Molck discussed the idea of an airport east of Denton
Tap Road, between Sandy Lake Road and Bethal Road.

Bills were presented for payment as follows:

C. J. Dobecka made a motion to pay items as stated and motion
was seconded by Thomas Sisk. Vote carried unanimously.
Mr. William Frank Autry brought a complaint against Coppell
Police Chief Kelly Story. He accused Mr. Story of abusive
language and conduct unbecoming to a law enforcement officer.
Charges were not denied by Mr. Story.
W. H. Wilson presented a plan offered by E1 Centro College
for fireman on Fire Protection Technology. Motion was made
and seconded by Mr. Wilson that any qualified fireman who will
attend and complete the courses according to the standards of
the college will be refunded complete tuition upon completion
of the course. Motion was seconded by Thomas Sisk and vote
carried unanimously.
