CM 1967-09-18STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in regular meeting on September 18, 1967, with the following members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor Jim McGiboney, Councilman Themas Sisk, Councilman C. L. Plumlee, Jr., Councilman E. C. Gentry, Secretary where the following business was transacted: Motion was made by Thomas Sisk, seconded by Jim McGiboney, that Mayor Cozby be authorized to sign contracts (2) with the St. Louis Southwestern Railway Lines (total of $100.00) to cover license fees for Underground Pipe Line Crossing Agreements covering the proposed installation of water and sewer lines. Vote carried unanimously. Jim McGiboney made a motion that the Council accept an Amendatory Offer from the Department of PIousing & Urban Development providing certain changes in the Loan Agree- ment Copy of the Amendatory Offer is attached. The City Secretary presented the monthly bills as follows: Coppell School District (tax statements ) 108.40 Ray Story Service Station 28.93 Newt Miller Ford 10.57 Glen Remmer Plumbing 200.00 Motion was made by C. J. Dobecka and seconded by Thomas Sisk that the bills be paid as stated. Vote carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned. PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS DAY 18th OF September, 1967. W. T. GENTRY, SECRETARY DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT OFFICE PUBLIC FACILITY LOANS PROGRAM Project No. PFL-Tex-144 Contract No. H-502-4607 Date: September 14, 1967 Amendment No. 1 Accepted: AMENDATORY OFFER The United States of America (herein called the "Government") hereby offers to amend the Loan Agreement, dated April 4, 1966, with the City of Coppell, Texas (herein called the "Borrower"), in the following particulars and no others: The Special Conditions attached to the Government's Offer as Exhibit "B" are amended in the following respects: (1) Special Condition A. 3. is amended to the extent necessary to permit an advance of funds against the later purchase of General Obligation Bonds in an amount sufficient to permit purchase, by the Borrower, of well site and construction of water well prior to final clearance of this condition. (2) Special Condition A. 4. is amended to the extent that 104'executed service contracts will be con- sidered as being in Full compliance, rather than the 130 originally required. This Amendatory Offer must be accepted, if at all, within 60 days from the date hereof.
