CM 1969-01-06 TATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in regular session with the following members present to-wit: ~.. ~- i~ ~ W. T. Cozby, Mayor C. L. Plumlee, Jr., Councilman Thomas Sisk, Councilman John Dobecka, Councilman W. H. Wilson, Councilman E. C. Gentry, Secretary constituting a quorum, where among other proceedings had, was the follow- ing: Mr. Vic Wiley and Mr. Harry Gaston appeared before' 'the Council th request a permit for a mobile home court on the west half of a 20 acre tract on Ruby Road owned by Mr. Gaston. Plans were submitted to the Council. In addition %o compliance with Trailer Park Ordinance #43, personal property taxes of $1.25 per used trailer space per month is to be collected by Mr. Gaston on a q~larterly basis. Vote carried that permit be granted, with 3 for, 1 against. Mr. Mannering, spokesman for Mr. J. D. Brown of Irving, appeared to request a trailer park permit for the C. T. Waters property, 20 acre tract, eontingent to approval of plans to be submitted later, and provided Mr. Brown has the only signed contract for purchase of the property. Vote was 3 for, 1 against, that the request be granted. W. H. Wilson made a motion that Ordinance ~48 be adopted, which provides for a joint public hearing between the City of Coppell and the Zoling Commission as authorized by Article #1011F, revised civil statutes cf the State of Texas and declaring an emergency. Motion was seconded by Jo]m Dobecka and vote was unanimous. Motion was made by Thomas Sisk, seconded by C. L. Plumlee, Jr. that a refund of $213.15 be made to C. R. Lesley. This is a tax refumd covering a five year period for property taxed which was found to be outside the city limits. Vote was unanimous.
