COUNTY OF DALLAS
February 17, 1969, the Council of the City of Coppell, Texas met in
regular meeting with the following present to-wit:
W. T. Cozby, Mayor
C. L. Plumlee, Jr., Councilman
John Dobecka, Councilman
Thomas Sisk, Councilman
W. H. Wilson, Councilman
E. C. Gentry, Secretary
representing a quorum present.
Resolution pertaining to Project Number PFL-Tex-144 (see attached) was
passed unanimously. MDtion was made by W. H. Wilson, seconded by Thomas
Sisk.
Mayor Cozby read a letter from Ben Pinnell, who represented landowner
Loyce Caldwell. Letter was placed on file.
Permit was requested from Mr. C. U. Carson to move a house trailer on
Mrs. Brim's property on Sandy Lake Road. Request was denied.
A representative appeared before the Council from Del Chemical Company
explaining the use of chemicals to prolong the life of fire truck tanks.
Charles Johnson's bill of $62.50 for gravel was presented to the Council.
W. H. Wilson made a motion to pay this, seconded by Thomas Sisk. Vote was
unanimo us.
W. H. Wilson made a motion to discontinue the extra $1.00 charge for water
to Sandy Lake Road customers and that the tie-on fee be reduced to $80.00
Motion was seconded by C. L. Plumlee, Jr.. Vote was unanimous.

BE IT RESOLVED BY T~ CI~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL,
TE~S:
SECTION 1. That the Engineers recommendation is hereto attached as
Exhibit "A" , and accepted by the City of Coppell.
SECTION 2. That the liquidated damages for the period of time between
the contract date of completion and the actual date of completion is hereby waived.
