COUNTY OF DALLAS
The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met March 17, 1969,
in regular session with the following members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor
C. L. Plumlee, Jr, Councilman
Thomas Sisk, Councilman
W. T. Wilson. Councilman
Jim McGiboney, Councilman
John Dobecka, Councilman
E. C. Gentry, Secretary
constituting a quorum, where among other proceedings had, was
the following:
Mr. Hodges and Mr. Thurmond, representatives from the Dallas
County Health Department, met with the Council to inquire as to
the progress of the sewer program and to assure the Council of
their help in obtaining connections to the n6~ facility. They
suggested that the Council think about passing an ordinance which
would require tie-on when the septic tanks first begin to mal-
function, when the house is within 100 feet of the property line.
MAr. Bill Harrison requested and was granted permit to build a
house on Moore Road.
Motion was made by Jim McGiboney that resolution be adopted to
make the Mercantile Bank depository for the sewer bonds. Motion
was seconded by C. L. Plumlee, Jr., and vote carried unanimously.
Motion was made by W. H. Wilson, seconded by John Dobecka, carrying
unanimously, to approve the city audit as submitted in a report
presented by city alditor, B. E. Parker.
