CM 1969-08-04 C~UNTY OF DALLAS STATE OF TEXAS The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met August 4, 1969, with the following members present to-wit: W. T. Cozby, Mayor Jonn Dobecka, Councilman W. H. Wilson, Councilman Jim McGiboney, Councilman E. C. Gentry, Councilman where the following business was transacted: Mrs. Mary Perkins appeared before the Council requesting that a "Stop & Go" light be placed at Belt Line Road and Coppell Road and one at Denton Tap Road and Sandy Lake Road. The Council assured Mrs. Perkins that action would be taken to get this done. Mr. Harry Gaston and Mr. Zettman appeared before the Council to discuss the progress of their trailer park on Ruby Road. Motion was made by W. H. Wilson to approve Ordinance #51 which appointed Troy Gildewell, Wayne Musgrave, and Kenneth Fomby to the Equalization Board for the City of Coppell. Motion was seconded by Jim McGiboney and vote was unanimous. Jim McGiboney made a motion that Ordinance #52 be adopted levying assessments against various persons and property for payment and cost of improving Kaye Street. Seconded by John Dobecka, vote was unanimous. The following bills were presented for payment: Coppell Superette 46.10 Dearing Service Station 14.25 Stewart Office Supply 35.00 Communications Service 10.00 Peck' s Office Supply 13.05 Bowles & Eades 43.05 Motion was made and seconded that these be paid as stated. MayDr Cozby recommended to the Council that the taxes for 1965, 1966, 1967, and 1968 on the disannexed area of Sandy Lake Road be dropped. There was lengthy discussion on this matter, but no action taken. Meeting adjourned. PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS 4th DAY OF August , 1969. W. T.
