CM 1970-01-03 OUNTY DALLAS State of Texas The Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in regular session, January 3rd, 1970 with the following members present to-wit: W. T Cozby, Mayor John Dobecka. Councilman W. H. Wilson, Councilman Jim McGiboney, Councilman C. L, Plumlee, Councilman constituting a quorum, where among other proceedings had was the following: Mr. Cantor of Hextor Corp. brought displays and discussion on purposed construction if a planned development owned by Mr. Calwell to be changed from a single family dwelling to a muti-family dwelling. W. H. Wilson made the motion to table the zoning change until the next meeting. Sencond Jim McGiboney. Vote was unanimous. W. H. Wilson made the motion ~o pay $1000.00 on the lawyers fee. Larry Jackson will receive $125.00 and the ferm will receive $875.00. Second C. L. Plumlee Jr. Vote was unanimous. Jim MCGiboney made the motion to put water pump at No.1 well back into operation as a stand-by .pump. Second Johnny Dobecka. Vote was unanimous. M Council discussed insurance for the fire department. Richard Lee brought a plan as given by E. H. Eldridge with $10,000.00 for Accidental Death, $2500.00 for medical expense, $100:00 per week for total disability, and the premium of the policy will b~$350. W.H. Wilson made ]( the motion to give Mr. Lee the authority to have E.H. Eldridge Write the policy up. Second Jim McGibon~y. Vote was unanimous.
