The- Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, met in regular
session February 2, 1970, with the following members present
to -wit:
W. T. Co zby, Mayor
Jim McGiboney, Councilman
John Dobecka, Councilman
W. H. Wilson, Councilman
E. C. Gentry, City Secretary
constituting a quorum, where among other proceedings had was
the following:
Minutes of January 19, 1970 read and approved with correction.
Dr. Vail presented proposed plans for a riding stable to be known
as Twenty Mile Farm on 14 acres owned by Mrs. Ruby Pruitt. Discussion
followed and Mr. Vail was told a change of zoning would be necessary.
Discussion was held on agreement with School Board as to the sewer
line to the School. ~btion was made by Mr. Wilson that Mr. Cozby
work out satisfactory agreement. Motion was seconded by John Dobecka
and vote carried unanimously.
Mr. H. L. Eldridge informed the Council that he had general liability
insurance covering city employees through Hartford Insurance Co.
Mr. B. E. Parker appeared before the Council to discuss his plans
for the development of some 23 lots east of the grade schoo. He
asked if the City ~,Duld participate with him in the cost of sewer
and water lines, and if not, what it would cost him to have lines
layed to tie onto the Citv's sewer trunk line. Mr. Parker was told
that the Council would give him an answer at the next Council meeting.
Mr. Cozby stated that he believed that the City owed Troy Nixson
one load of pea gravel since the sewer line went across his front
yard. Motion was made by Jim McGiboney to give Troy Nixson one
load of gravel. Motion was seconded by John Dobecka and carried
unan imo ~lsly.
Mrs. Sandlin requested a special permit for her mother's mobile
home. Her mother was ill and needed to be near her so she could
take care of her. Special permit was granted for one year.
Mr. Cozby informed the Council that the City owed Suzanne Well
for typing of the minutes for the Zoning Commission. Jim McGiboney
made a motion to pay her $20.00. blotion was seconded by
W. H. tqilson and carried unanimously.

Motion was made by W. H. Wilson that said bills be paid. and the
,.motion was seconded by John Dobecka and carried unanimously.
