The Council pf the City of Coppell,' Texas, met in Special session August 6
1970, with the following members present to-wit: '~:

Ted Ruppel, Councilman
Wheelice Wilson, Councilman
Jim McGiboney, Councilman
· E. C. Gentry, City Secretary.
constituting a quorum, where among other proCeedings had was the following;
Mr. Charles Brown requested permission to put 2 mobile homes on his property
in order to have someone to help care for the place and to protect it in the
Browns' absence, He told the council' he planS tO put in a separate driveway
west of the present one, plant trees and do other landscaping, and put in a
separate septic system. The council voted unanimously/to grant a permit for
one mobile home based on the need for 'protection of the property.
Mr. Pete Styner, representative of Fowler & Grafe, Inc., Consulting Engineers,
discussed proposed sewerage for Beltline Road.. He-presented irformation as to
future sewerage needs of the city, No action was taken; He also presented an
Administrative Manual outlining certain codes and ordinances recommended for
the city*s adoption, Mr, Wilson moved that the city of Coppell adopt the four
codes (Uniform Building Code, 1970 Bd.,'VoI. I; Uniform Plumbing Code, 19~0
International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials; National
Electrical Code, 1968, National Pire Protection'Association;iFire Prevention
Code, 1965 Bd,, American Insurance Association) and the accompanying Administrative
MIanual supplied by Fowler & Grafe, pending review by the City's attorney.
Mr. McGiboney seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously,
