CM 1975-10-28]32 . STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF DALLAS The City Council met in regular. session on October 28, 1975, at 6:00 p.m. , in the meeting room at City Hall, Coppell, Texas. The following members were present: Hulen Scott, Mayor Sam Tiner, Mayor Pro Tem Don Carter, Councilman James Rainey, Councilman Also present was City Engineer Steve Harrison. Absent were Councilwoman Beal, Councilman,Fred Baker, City Administrator George Campbell, City Attorney Larry Jackson, City Secretary Margaret Johnson. The meeting was called to order and everyone asked to stand while Council- man Rainey gave the invocation. Item 3, Old Business: ' 1. Discussion on MUD- Mud Officials-City Meeting with Trinity River Authority would be on Thursday morning, October 30, 1975, con- cerning the Sewer Contract. 2. Councilman Carter advised that the Cotton Belt Railroad had agreed that an easement or license to use raftroad right-of-way could be obtained if the City needed it for access to a site for an elevated storage tank. 3. Steve Harrison, City Engineer, reported to Council concerning six (6) alternative sites for elevated storage facilities. Total project costs including acquisition of a site is estimated to be $400,000. Item 4, Other New Business: 1. Following discussion with Public Works Director A.P. Vanbebber, a motion was made by Councilman Carter, seconded by Councilman Rainey, to proceed with construction of the 8" water line from Sandy Lake Road to the existing 8" line on Bethel Road.
