COUNTY OF DALLAS
The City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas met in special emergency
session on December 8, 1976 at 6:00 P.M., in the meeting room at the Coppell
City Hall.
The following members were present:
Hulen A. Scott, Mayor
Fred Baker, Mayor Pro Tem
Donald J. Carter, Councilman
Hazel R. Beal, Councilwoman
Stubby Steadman, Councilman
Absent was Councilman Roy Brock. Also present was City Administrator George
Campbell, City Attorney Lawrence Jackson, City Engineer Steve Harrison and
City Secretary Margaret Johnson.
The invocation was given by Councilman Carter.

Mayor Scott called the meeting to order and Council immediately went into
Executive Session (closed to the public)
A. Article 6252-17, Section 2 ~c) discussion with city attorney.

City Administrator Campbell advised Council that he had a telephone call from
Dallas County concerning the city's participation in the cost of widening the
intersection where Bethel Road extension joins Denton Tap Road. It was the
consensus of Council that the city participate in this joint effort with the
County.
Meeting then adjourned.
