Dear Ms . Brierton :
BGE , Inc . prev iously entered into an agreement dated August 27 , 2020 (the "Original
Agreemen t"), in the amount of $244 ,300.00. for the design and construction administration , for
• Project 1: Village Parkway Pump Station Redundancy Improvements ,
This additional services request shall serve as an amendment to the design and construction
adm inistration services fees to provide services and deliverables as detailed in Attachment
A .1. The basis of compensation for the additional services of this project will be based on
combination of lump sum and time & materials fees as summarized in Attachment B.
This Additiona l Services Request is subject to the Terms and Conditions attached with the
Original Agreement. A detailed schedule of the work will be provided upon execution of this
request , but the intent is to bring the refenced projects to bid this fall for a construction contract
award by the end of the year.

ATTACHMENT A.1 -Additional Services Request
Project 1-Village Parkway Pump Station (VPPS) Redundancy
Professional Services and support for the City of Coppell (Coppell} for the design of redundancy measures for the Village
Parkway Pump Station :
The additional effort due to additional scope· for necessary project improvements and unforeseen site conditions, and
incorporation of these elements into detailed design, bidding phase support and construction phase services for the
following :
• VPPS emergency bypass pumping system ,
o Discharge pipeline reroutes to 30 " water main in Kimbel Kt. to avoid underground conflicts ,
o Additional system connections of the 30 " water main in Kimbel Kt. including water system modeling to
determine allowable shutdown windows,
o Additional structural, electrical and civil engineering for design of discharge header valve vault due to
added complexity of underground conditions,
• Additional 48" yard piping valve in need of replacement, including incorporation of line stops to accommodate
the work ,
• Additional permanent water meter station including electrical and SCADA,
• Additional special services including Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and Geotechnical investigation.
ARTICLE I
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The ENGINEER agrees to furnish the OWNER the above specific services on a lump sum basis and incorporated into
the original project scope deliverables.
