ORDINANCE NO. 2000916
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
CORRECTNG ORDINANCE NO. 00-910, PERTAINING TO THE
RENAMING HAWKEN DRIVE, BY CHANGING ALL REFERENCES TO
LOT 16A TO LOT 16B; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 00-910, changing the name of a portion of Hawken Drive
was passed by the City of Coppell on the 9th day of May, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 00-910 contains an error in the numbering of the lots
adjacent to said portion; and,
WHEREAS, in order to maintain accurate records of the City and reflect the appropriate
portion of the street wherein the name has been changed, it is necessary to correct all references
to Lot 16A to Lot 16B.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the Ordinance No. 00-910, adopted on the 9th day of May, 2000 shall
be amended to change all references to Lot 16A to Lot 16B.
SECTION 2. That except as provided herein, Ordinance No. 00-910 shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3. That all provisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Coppell, Texas, in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other
provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. That should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or
section of this ordinance, or of the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, be adjudged or held to be
void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of said
ordinance or the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and a~er its passage the
publication of its caption, as the law and Charter in such cases provide.
