Parkway Boulevard. As authorized by Section 551.127,of the Texas Government Code, one or more appointed board member or employees may attend this meeting remotely using videoconferencing technology. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items: Regular Session (Open to the Public) 1. Call To Order President Straach called the meeting to order at 6:31 pm.. Members present: Aaron Straach,Thomas Dwyer,Cliff Long,Wes Mays,George Cooper,Majid Husain(virtual),Rohinton Karanjia(virtual) Others present: Jessica Carpenter,Adam Richter,Cecilia Gandara 2. Citizens'Appearance a City of Coppell,Texas Page 1 Coppell Recreation Development Minutes July 17,2023 Corporation George Piroumoff,721 E.Beltline Road,expressed his interest in indoor pickleball courts. This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or Commission on any matter.Anyone wishing to address the Board or Commission should register prior to the start of the meeting. There is a two (2) minute time limit for each citizen to speak, additional time may be granted by the Board or Commission. The Board or Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizens'Appearance. 3. Consider approval of Minutes: May 15, 2023 A motion was made by Boardmember Mays,seconded by Vice President Dwyer,that this agenda item be approved.The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 4. Consider approval of recommending the 2023-2024 Coppell Recreation Development Corporation Annual Work Program and the 2023-2024 Corporate Budget to City Council and request a 60-day public review period of the proposed Work Program. Director of Finance Kim Tiehen and Budget Officer Jesica Almendarez updated the board with the financial status of the CRDC funds. A motion was made by Boardmember Mays,seconded by Vice President Dwyer,that this agenda item be approved.The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 5. Liaison's Report Board Liaison Jessica Carpenter informed the board that there will be a meeting in August. The Board will also meet in September to hold a public hearing for the 23-24 CRDC Work Program. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Coppell Recreation Development Corporation Board,the meeting was adjourned at 6:57 pm.
