Also present was Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development; Ashley Owens,
City Secretary; Katie Crawford, Community Services Manager; and Kami McGee, Board
Secretary.
Notice was given that the Economic Development Foundation of the City of Coppell,
Texas, met on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Regular Called Session at 9:00 a.m., at
Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas.
As authorized by Section 551,071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may
be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential
legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The City of Coppell reserves the right to reconvene, recess or realign the Work
Session or called Executive Session or order of business at any time prior to
adjournment.
As authorized by Section 551.127, of the Texas Government Code, one or more
Commissioners or employees may attend this meeting remotely using
videoconferencing technology.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:

1, Call to order
Jeff Roller called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

2. Citizen's Appearance
Jeff Roller advised that no one signed up to speak at Citizens' Appearance.
3, Consider approval of the December 19, 2022, Economic Development
Foundation_meeting_-minutes
A motion was made by Kalyan Madhavan, seconded by Greg Hope, to approve
the minutes of the December 19, 2022, Economic Development Foundation
meeting minutes. The motion passed unanimously, 4-0.
4, Election of Officers
A motion was made to nominate Jeff Roller as President, Greg Hope as Vice
President, and Kalyan Madhavan as Secretary. The motion passed
unanimously, (4-0).
5, Economic Development Update Presentation
Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development, gave an update on new
businesses opened and new development in 2023.
6. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution ratifying the actions of the
President and Board of Directors for the Coppell Economic
Development Foundation Inc. for the year 2022.
A motion was made by Kalyan Madhavan, seconded by Anthony Fang, to
adopt a Resolution ratifying the actions of the President and Board of Directors
for the Coppell Economic Development Foundation Inc. for the year 2022, The
motion was approved unanimously, 4-0.
7. Adjournment
There being no further business before the Economic Development
Foundation, Jeff Roller, adjourned the meeting at 9:39 a.m.
