Notice is hereby given that the Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell met
on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of Town
Center, 255 E. Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:

1, Call To Order
Chair Paschal called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m

2. Citizens’ Appearance
There were no Citizen's signed up to speak.
This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or
Commission on any matter. Anyone wishing to address the Board or Commission
should register prior to the start of the meeting. There is a two (2) minute time limit for
each citizen to speak, additional time may be granted by the Board or Commission.
The Board or Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a
speaker during Citizens’ Appearance.
3: Consider approval of minutes: June 3, 2024
A motion was made by Boardmember Tinwala, seconded by Boardmember
Bryan, that this agenda item be approved. The motion was carried by a
unanimous vote.
4, Annual update by the Coppell Lacrosse Association
Mckee Smith, President of the Coppell Lacrosse Association, gave an update
on registration numbers, and activities in regards to the Coppell Lacrosse
Association.
5. Manager's update- Ginene Delcioppo, Arts Center Manager
Ginene Delcioppo along with her team gave an update on shows, events, and
classes taking place at the Coppell Art Center.
6. Update regarding Master Plan process
Lauren Rodriguez updated the board on the Master Plan process.
fs Update regarding Waggin’ Tails Dog Park Design
Assistant Director, Adam Richter gave an update regarding the Waggin’ Tails
Dog Park design.
8. Youth Advisor's Report
Youth Advisors updated the board with the current projects they are working
on.
9, Director's update regarding events, projects, and departmental
developments.
Director Jessica Carpenter updated the board on upcoming events and
projects.
10. Discussion regarding future agenda items.

There being no further items to come before the Parks and Recreation Board
the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
