Notice is hereby given that the Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Coppell,
Texas, met on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 6:30pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room
of Town Hall Center, 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.
As authorized by Section 551.127, of the Texas Government Code, one or more
appointed board member or employees may attend this meeting remotely using
videoconferencing technology.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:

Staff Present: Sheri Belmont, Adam Richter, Cecilia Gandara, Vanessa Celis,

2. Citizens’ Appearance
4. Chris Myer- 516 Cozby Ave. Coppell, TX 75019
Presented their concerns to the board in regards to the baseball field usage.
This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or Commission on
any matter. Anyone wishing to address the Board or Commission should register prior to the
start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak. In the event
that there are more than thirty (30) speakers registered for citizens appearance, the
chairperson may reduce each speaker's time to no less than one minute per speaker.
The Board or Commission is not permitted to discuss or take action on any subject raised by a
speaker during Citizens' Appearance
3. Consider approval of minutes: November 4, 2024
A motion was made by Boardmember Rose, seconded by Boardmember
Roller, that this agenda item be approved. The motion was carried by a
unanimous vote.
4, Consider approval of minutes: November 11, 2024
A motion was made by Boardmember Corcoran, seconded by Boardmember
Arnold, that this agenda item be approved. The motion was carried by a
unanimous vote.
5. Annual Update by the Coppell Youth Football Association
Jordy Bernhard, President of the Coppell Youth Football Association, gave an
update on registration numbers, and activities in regards to the Association.
6. Manager's Update- Dylon Hernandez, Senior and Community Center Manager
Dylon Hernandez along with his staff gave an update on the programs, classes,
activities, and rentals that have taken place at the Senior and Community
Center.
7. Youth Advisor's Report
Youth Advisor Avery Fishman, updated the board on her rock garden project.
8. Director's update regarding events, projects, and departmental
developmenis.
Assistant Director, Sheri Belmont updated the board on upcoming events and
projects.
9, Discussion regarding future agenda items.

There being no further items to come before the Parks and Recreation Board
this meeting was adjourned at 7:43 P.M.
