Notice is hereby given that the Library Advisory Board of the City of Coppell,Texas,
met at 7 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of Town Center at 255 E. Parkway
Boulevard.
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
4. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Board Chair Carla Madrigal.
Also present were Library Board Members Anne Diamond, Martha Garber, Seth
L. Phillips, Haridas Radhakrishnan, Radhika Rajgopal Singh; Alternate Board
Members Elizabeth Mink and Manisha N. Pagedar; and Youth Advisors Ananya
Gogula and Maiya A. Krishna.
Board member Frank Gasparro was absent.
Staff in attendance were Library Manager Alexis Wellborn and Senior
Administrative Assistant Yessemeri Chavez.

3, Approval of Minutes from April 10, 2025
Board Member Martha Garber moved to approve the Minutes from April 10,
2025 as presented. Board Member Haridas Radhakrishnan seconded the
‘motion. The motion carried by unanimous vote.
4, Review and discuss amended Bylaws of Cozby Library and Community
Commons Library Advisory Board
The Board reviewed the amended Bylaws with the redlined modifications
discussed in the May meeting. With a few additional updates, the Board will
review a final, corrected document at the next meeting. With Board approval,
the document will be sent for attorney and Council review.
5. Friends of the Coppell Public Library Report
Board Member Elizabeth Mink reviewed the activities of the Friends of the
Coppell Public Library.
The inaugural Library Giving Day was successful with the Friends receiving
total donations of $755.
The Friends are currently investigating the software, Membership Toolkit, to
help with their membership correspondence and record keeping.
The Annual Membership Meeting, electing new officers, will be held on May
19, 2025 at the Library.
6, Adjournment
There being no further business before the Library Advisory Board, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
