Also present was Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development; Luay Rahil,
Assistant Director of Community Development; and Kami McGee, Board Secretary.
Notice was given that the Economic Development Foundation of the City of Coppell,
Texas, met on December 17, 2024, at 5:00pm, in the Main Conference Room located at
265 E. Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, TX 75019.
As authorized by Section 551.127, of the Texas Government Code, one or more
appointed board member or employees may attend this meeting remotely using
videoconferencing technology.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may
be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential
legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:
Regular Session (Open to the Public)
1. Call To Order
Jeff Roller called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m.
2. Citizens' Appearance
Jeff Roller advised that no one signed up to speak at Citizens' Appearance.

Economic Development Foundation Minutes December 17, 2024
This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or Commission on
any matter. Anyone wishing to address the Board or Commission should register prior to the
start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak. In the
event that there are more than thirty (30) speakers registered for citizens appearance, the
chairperson may reduce each speaker's time to no less than one minute per speaker.
The Board or Commission is not permitted to discuss or take action on any subject raised by
a speaker during Citizens’ Appearance
3. Consider approval of the December 12, 2023, Economic Development
Foundation meeting minutes.
A motion was made by Anthony Fang, seconded by Greg Hope, to approve the
minutes of the December 12, 2023, Economic Development Foundation
meeting minutes. The motion passed unanimously, 4-0.
A. Election of Officers
A motion was made to nominate Jeffrey Roller as President, Greg Hope as Vice
President, and Kalyan Madhavan has Secretary. The motion passed
unanimously, (4-0).
5. Economic Development Update Presentation
Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development, gave an update on new
businesses opened and new development in 2024.
6. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution ratifying the actions of the President and
Board of Directors for the Coppell Economic Development Foundation Inc. for the year
2023.
A motion was made by Greg Hope, seconded by Kalyan Madhavan, to adopt a
Resolution ratifying the actions of the President and Board of Directors for the
Coppell Economic Development Foundation Inc. for the year 2023. The motion
was approved unanimously, 4-0.
7. Adjournment
There being no further business before the Economic Development
Foundation, Jeff Fuller adjourned the meeting at 5:28 p.m.
