Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Coppell, Texas, will meet in Regular
Session on Thursday, February 1, 2001, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Fire Administration
Building, 500 Southwestern Blvd.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be convened into
closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on
any agenda item listed herein.
REGULAR SESSION: (Open to the Public)
ITEM 1: Call to Order.
ITEM 2: Approval of Minutes of January 4, 2001 Meeting.
ITEM 3:
Public Hearing to consider approval of a variance request from Section 11-3-2-C of the
City' s Zoning Ordinance and Section 9-2-6-D of the City' s Code of Ordinances, for the
property currently known as 456 E. Sandy Lake Road. Rory Carrick is requesting a
variance to the minimum required lot depth for SF-12 zoned lots, and a variance to place a
4-ft. high wrought iron fence, in what has been established as the front yard, from the east
property line to the southeast corner of the house, which will face Lodge Road, in order to
provide a pool enclosure on the property.
ITEM 4:
Public Hearing to consider approval of a variance request from the developer' s plat note
#3 requiring a 10-ft. sideyard fence setback on lots adjacent to side streets, for the
property located at 112 Fleetwood Cove. Cindy Jacobs is requesting a variance to extend
the fence and angle it, beyond the required 1 O-ft. minimum sideyard fence setback, in
order to preserve a Post Oak treeline on the noah side of the house, and to provide access
to the strip of land between the stone walls for maintenance purposes.
