NOTICE is hereby given that on the 26th day of October, 1982, the City of Coppell,
Texas, at a regular meeting of the City Council to be held at the Administration Building,
1201 Wrangler Drive in the City of Coppell, the regular meeting place of the City Council,
intends to pass an ordinance authorizing the issuance of General Obligation Certificates of
Obligation, for the purpose of purchasing land for a municipal services center for said
City, and for the payment of the contractual obligations for professional services of
attorneys and financial advisors in connection therewith. Said Certificates shall be issued
in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000); they shall bear
interest at a rate not to exceed Fifteen Per Cent (15%) per annum, and shall have a
maximum maturity date of not later than Forty (40) years after their date. Said
Certificates shall be payable from the levy of a direct and continuing annual ad valorem
tax against all taxable property within said City sufficient to pay the interest on this
series of Certificates as due and to provide for the principal thereof as the same matures,
as authorized by Article 2368a.1, V.A.T.C.S., as amended and supplemented.
THIS NOTICE is given in accordance with law and as directed by the City Council of
the City of Coppell, Texas.

On this the ,.30th day of September , 1982, the City Council of the City of
Coppell, Texas, convened in special meeting at the regular meeting place thereof,
the meeting being open to the publiic and notice of said meeting, giving the date, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Article 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., and the
roll was called of the duly constituted officers and members of said City Council, to-wit:

and all of said persons were present, except the following absentees:none ,
thus constituting a quorum. Whereupon, among other business the following was
transacted at said Meeting~
An Ordinance Directing the Giving of Notice of Intention
to Issue $500,000 City of Coppell, Texas, General
Obligation Certificates of Obligation, Series 1982
The Ordinance, a full, true and correct copy of which is attached hereto, was read and
reviewed by the City Council.
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilmember Ware and seconded
by Councilmember White that the Ordinance be passed.
The Mayor put the motion to a vote of the members of the City Council and the
Ordinance was passed by the following vote:
AYES: All members of the City Council shown present above voted "Aye."
NOES: None.
The Mayor then declared the Ordinance passed, and signed and approved the same in
the presence of the City Council.
MINUTES APPROVED AND CERTIFIED TO BE TRUE AND CORRECT and to
correctly reflect the duly constituted members of the City Council of said City, and the
attached and following copy of said Ordinance is hereby certified to be a true and correct

AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO ISSUE $500,000 CITY OF COPPELL,
TEXAS GENERAL OBLIGATION CERTIFICATES OF
OBLIGATION, SERIES 1982
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
1. That the City Secretary of the City of Coppell, Texas, is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a notice in substantially the following form:
"NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE GENERAL
OBLIGATION CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION
"THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DALLAS
CITY OF COPPELL
"NOTICE is hereby given that on the 26th day of October, 1982, the City of Coppell,

2. The foregoing notice shall be published on the same day of each of two
successive weeks, the first of which publications shall be at least fourteen (14) days prior
to the date set forth in the foregoing notice for passage of the ordinance authorizing said
General Obligation Certificates of Obligation.
