Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Coppell will meet in
pre-session at 6 p.m. and in regular session at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2001, in the City
Council Chambers of Coppell Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas 75019.
As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be convened
into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City
Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following items:

PUBLIC HEARING: Consider approval of Case No. PD-190 Trinity Shores,
zoning change request from R (Retail) to PD- SF-9 (Planned Development -
Single-Family-9) to allow the development of single-family homes on
approximately 7.31 acres of property located on the south side of Sandy Lake
Road, west of the Trinity River, at the request of Hobart Development, Inc.

PUBLIC HEARING: Consider approval of Case No. S-1186-Potter Concrete,
zoning change request from LI (Light Industrial) to LI-SUP (Industrial, Special
Use Permit), to allow for the operation of a concrete batch plat, for a period not to
exceed one year, on approximately 1.16 acres of property located approximately
900 feet west of the intersection of Creekview & Royal, on the west side of
Creekview Drive, at the request of Potter Concrete.

Item 7:
Consider approval of Northpoint Addition, Lot 1, Block 1, Final Plat, request to
allow the construction of two office/warehouse buildings totaling approximately
137,000 square feet on 9.081 acres of property located at the southeast corner of
Northpoint Drive and S.H. 121, at the request of the Jackson-Shaw Company.

Consider approval of Coppell Middle School West, Site Plan and Final Plat,
request to allow the construction of a service center with bus/maintenance vehicle
parking, several building additions, reconstruction of the concession building, and
re-paving of the asphalt parking lot on approximately 51.7 acres of property
located approximately 250 feet west of the intersection of Wrangler and Crestside
Drives (1301 Wrangler Drive), at the request of Glenn Engineering.
