ORDINANCE NO. 191
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
WAIVER OF SEWER PRO-RATA CHARGES ON RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES WITHIN
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY WHICH WERE IN EXISTENCE ON JANUARY
1, 1978, AND WHICH LIE ADJACENT TO SEWER LINES CONSTRUCTED UNDER THE
CITY'S SANITARY SEWER PROJECT KNOWN AS WPC-TEX-1203-03.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Sewer pro-rata charges which otherwise would be imposed
under City Ordinance No. 180 are hereby waived on residential structures in existence
as of January 1, 1978, and lying adjacent to sewer lines constructed under the City's
Sanitary Sewer Project No. WPC-TEX-1203-03. Provided, however, where such structure
is located on a tract in excess of 12,000 square feet, an area of 12,000 square feet
around such structure shah be designated and such waiver shah apply only to such
designated 12,000 square foot area.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shah take effect immediately from and after
its passage as the law in such cases provides.
