Ordinance No. 160
An ordinance of the City of Coppell, Texas, authorizing the mayor
to execute an agreement between the City of Coppell and the Trinity River
Authority concerning the discharge of waste water into Trinity River
Authority's system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
Section 1: That a contract in substantially the form set out in
the exhibit which is attached hereto and made a part hereof be entered into
between the City of Coppell, Texas and Trinity River Authority of Texas.
Section Z: That said contract shall be executed by the Mayor on
behalf of said City and attested by the City Secretary.
Section 3: That it is hereby officially found and determined that
a case of emergency or urgent public necessity exists which requires the
holding of the meeting at which time Ordinance is passed, such emergency
or urgent public necessity being that the services to be afforded the City
under the contract herein authorized are required as soon as possible and
without delay for necessary and urgently needed public improvements; and
that said meeting was open to the public, and public notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting was given, all as required by Vernon's Ann.
