OR 139 Approves City budget for FY 10/1/74 - 9/30/75 ORDINANCE NO. 139
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR OCTOBER 1, 1974 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1975; PROVID-
ING THAT EXPENDITURES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR SHALL BE MADE
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID BUDGET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of the City of
Coppell, Texas, has heretofore on the /J-~' day Of ~ ~?~
19 7~' filed with the City Secretary, a proposed general
budget for the City covering the fiscal year aforesaid, and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City has this
date concluded its public hearing on said budget, NOW THERE-
FORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COPPELL, TEXAS~

SECTION 1. That said budget be attached to this
as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all

SECTION 3. That subject to the above mentioned
amendments, if any, said budget attached hereto as Exhibit
"A", be, and the same is hereby approved and adopted by the
City Council as the official budget for the City for the
fiscal year aforesaid.
SECTION 4. That expenditures during the fiscal
year shall be made in accordance with the budget approved
by this Ordinance unless otherwise authorized by a duly
enacted Ordinance of the City.
SECTION 5. That the necessity for making and
approving a budget for the fiscal year as required by the
laws of the State of Texas creates an urgency and an
emergency and requires that this Ordinance shall take effect
from and after its passage as the law in such cases provides.
