ORDINANCE NO. 128A1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS APPROVING AND
CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF COPPELL BY
THE COPPELL MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1; MAKING PROVISIONS
RELATING THERETO AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
I~HEI~EAS, Coppell Municipal Utility District No. 1 bas been requested by the
landowner to annex land ~dthin the City boundaries, which is described in Exhibit A
attached hereto, and said District has determined it would be in the best interests of
the District in its orderly development to annex said ]and; and
WHEt{EAS, said District has requested the City Council to grant the City's
consent and approval thereto, and the City Council has determined that said consent
and approval should be granted; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Coppe!] hereby grantes its approval and consent
to Coppe]l Municipal Utility District No. I to annex the lan(~ described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and made a part hereof for ell ourposes.
SECTION 2. That said consent an~ approval is ~'iven sub,eot to al) terms and
conditions specified in the City's Ordinance No. 128, dated November 20, 1973, granting
its consent and approval to the creation of the District.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage
as the law in such eases provides.

BEING a tract of land situated in the James Parrish Survey,
Abstract No. 1139, Dallas County, Texas, and. being part of a
142 acre tract as conveyed to Helen L. Johnson by deed as
recorded in Volume 2041 at Page 492 of the Deed Records of
Dallas County, Texas, and also being the same tract as con-
veyed to Horace D. Ainsworth, Jr., as recorded in Volume
71216 at Page 0917 of the Deed Records of Dallas County,
Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the South line of Sandy Lake Road,
said point being N. 89~20'30"E, 453.55 feet from the West
line of said 142 acre tract, an iron stake for corner;
THENCE, N. 89°20'30"E, along said South line of Sandy Lake
Road, a distance of 486.25 feet to an iron stake for corner
THENCE, S. 0°47'57"E, a distance of 1552.98 feet to an iron
stake for corner;
THENCE, S, 89°10'W, a distance of 486.31 feet to an iron
stake for corner;
THENCE, N. 0°47'50"W, a distance of 1554.46 feet to t?e
