ORDINANCE NO. 116A2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS, AMENDING
THE CITY OF COPPELL "PRO RATA" ORDINANCE (NO. 116) BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 2 THEREOF; REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 116-A-1; ESTABLISHING NEW PRO RATA CHARGES AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Subsections (a) and (b) of Section
of Ordinance No. 116, the Pro Rata Ordinance of the City of
Coppell, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
"(a)
(b)
For tracts of five (5) acres or more, and
tracts of three to five acres with at least
one acre for each 200 feet of frontage as
defined herein:
(1) $150.00 per acre of land to which
water service is provided.
(2) $120.00 per acre of land to which
sewer service is provided.
For tracts less than three (3) acres in area,
and tracts of three to five acres with less
than one acre for each 200 feet of frontage
as defined herein:

SECTION 2.
$2.25 per front foot of the lot or
tract of land to which water service.

Ordinance No. l16-A-1 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The necessity for the above amendment to
protect the public interest, creates an urgency and an emergency
for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare,
and requires that this ordinance shall take effect on the 15
