Dear Mr. McColh
This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of May 13, 1997 addressed to Mr.
Jim Witt, City Manager of the City of Coppell, regarding a claim made by your clients,
Charlie and Dianne Seraphin against the City of Coppell.
This matter has been mined over to our office for handling. I have been out of the
office the past three weeks and I am just now looking into this matter and have discussed
the matter with Mr. Ken Griffin, Assistant City Engineer. Mr. Griffin advises me that he
will be out of the City until after June 9, 1997, and at that time I plan on getting together
with him to determine the facts in this situation and respond in detail to your letter.
Since I have not had time to review the facts in connection with this matter, I am
not in a position to make any sort of recommendation to the City.
Please be assured that I will be back in touch with you as soon as I have had an
oppommity to review this matter and be in a position to make a recommendation to the
City.
