Trinity River Authority Project
Dear Mr. Weathershee:
We have reviewed the preliminary plans and the hydraulic report for the above
referenced project. According to the results, the City of Carrollton believes that
construction of this utility lIne does not require a Con/dot Development Certificate
permit since it complies with section 1.4 (Exemptions and Variances), item C
(Discharges of material for backfill for utility lines, provided there is no si?ii, cant
change in the pre-existing bottom contours). The aerial crossing ove~ the Elm Fork
Trinity River shows a minor increase in the water surface elevation for a very short
distance, which results in no negative impact to any struetu~ within this short reach.
I appreciate the opportunity to review this request. If you have any questions,
please call me.
Sincerely,
Tunothy M, Tu~multy, P.E.
