Dear Mr. Griffin:
The intent of this letter is to inform you-of a proposal by the Trinity River Authority of
Texas to construct a 48-inch sanitary sewer crossing across the Elm Fork of the Trin~
River. The steel pipe crossing is an addition to an existing 33-inch CMP crossing. The
proposed crossing is located just upstream of Belt Line Road and the Southern Pacific
Railroad and just downstream of the existing crossing. A location map is included with
this letter.
A hydraulic analysis was performed in order to determine any potential impacts incurred
as a rasuit of the construction of the proposed crossing. The analysis showed that the
surcharge created due to the existing crossing will be extended to the location of the
proposed crossing. No structures will be subjected to Degative impacts because
structures located adjacent to the area of the crossing have floor elevations above the
100-year frequency water surface elevations.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please carl
Sincerely, "l {3~- ~'~J~/
