Subject: Coppell Road
Ken,
I want to touch base with you on the progress of Coppell Road. Since we met in July we have acquired right of way or
easement from 3 of the 6 affected property owners, and we are in dialog with the remaining owners. We hope to be
successful in our negotiations, however if we are not we may need to discuss some modifications to the ADA ramps. The
affected intersections are Cooper and Kaye Street.
We hosted a utility coordination meeting on August 14, 2007. At that meeting we discussed our expectation for the utilities
to be clear by the first quarter of 2008. We have subsequently had meetings and dialog with Oncor(TXU) and Verizon.
The expectation of the city is that we complete the design of this project, bid the project, and begin construction no later
than the second quarter of 2008.

council approval, etc...
