I am out of the office until Monday. I agree that we can not lay an 8" at 0.23%. If a 10" keeps is within
TCEQ guidelines then we should use it.
I forwarded your email to our engineering technician to look at the layout. If I get some comments from
him I'll pass them on, if not I'll call you on Monday.

Keith,
In looking at the section of sanitary sewer to replace the existing 8"
main is on a 0.23% grade. Because of the flat grade, we are proposing
to replace the 8" main with a 10" main on a 0.22% grade. I have
attached a sketch showing our proposed design for your review and
comment. Let us know.
