Keith,
I will add that to the addendum. Do you want to send it out this
afternoon or Monday morning?

Keith,
Yes, do you want to pay for them under Bid Item #25, Road Sign Supports
and Assemblies (Relocation)? Let me know.

Ken,
Can we just make the contractor responsible for maintaining and
relocating these?

Keith,
Attached is a draft of the addendum. The only thing I know of that I
don't have an answer on is the School Zone Flashers. Who will supply,

install and pay for? Let me know when you are ready to send it out.

Keith,
Sounds reasonable to me.
We are rechecking the temporary asphalt number and it may actually go up
instead of down.

We need to keep our options open on this. The time frame for saw
cutting is dependant on many factors, not just time.
After reading the difference between the 3rd and 4th edditions, I tend
to favor the 4th. The problem is we have specified the third for the
project.
I would answer something like:
"The third eddition will govern for this project. Any requests to
deviate from this or any other section of the contract shall be made by
the successful bidder in writing under the provisions of the contract."
What do you think?

Ms. Henderson
This project calls out the 3rd Edition of the COG Spec. Item 5.8.2 of
this spec with regards to Contraction Joints requires that we sawcut
within a 5 to 12 hour window unless it is listed on the plans. To meet
this spec, we would have to stop our paving by 1:00 PM so that we are
not sawing concrete after 6:00 PM. If we paved past 1:00 PM we could not
saw within the 12 hour limit.
This requirement changed in the 4th Edition.
Could you get a clarification?
Thanks
Rick Howard
