Mr. Novosad,
Thank you for contacting me about your drainage concerns. When we began
the design for this project we knew that the adjacent properties that
were able to drain to the existing ditches would need to continue to
drain into the new street. In order to do that we had to lower the
street a significant amount in many areas. In front of your home we
will be lowering the street about 2'-3" at the center. This should
allow the rain water to runoff from your yard over the new curb and into
the street. Once in the street the water will be picked up in curb
inlets and conveyed to the creek through the new storm drain pipes.
We belive the design addressees your concern. I am including a copy of
two plan sheets for your use. One is the plan and profile of the street
in the area of your home. The other is a cross section showing the area
around this location. I invite you to look over these plans and call me
with any questions or comments you may have.

Dear Mr. Marvin,
As to the Coppell Road project I have certain concern regarding the
ditches (resp consequences of not having them).
(8/18/2009) Keith Marvin - RE: Coppell Road Project #ST 00-03, 320 S Coppell RoadPage 2
My house is 320 S. Coppell Road (one house on East bank of the road,
between Plantation Drive and Wilson Elementary).
Barrow ditches here are collecting all rain water from front yards.
There is very little slope of those yards, so if one cancel ditches,
rain water might start to cumulate on yards and go back into the
house(s).
I am not sure about the projected horozontal level of S Coppell Road,
but fact is that current level of the Road is above the level of yard.
So, if the projected level of the road will go cca 1.5 - 2 ft down
versus current status, the road will collect the water, but otherwise no
and some solution is needed (like some drain for water or so).
Please, give me know about.

Tomas Novosad
