Lance,
This 8" water line is being replaced with a 12" as part of this project. Once the 8" is abandoned you may remove the
portion that is in conflict with the 72" storm drain.
We understand that there is a conflict with the existing Verizon lines in the area of the storm drain. Verizon is actively
working to eliminate this conflict.
As I write this I am reviewing the schedule submitted at the start of this job. I am having a hard time determining that this
conflict is in fact delaying the critical path. Perhaps we can discuss this next week when we meet.

Please see the attached letter from North Texas Contracting concerning
the 72" RCP. Apparently there is an existing 8" water line and a fiber
optic line. Please advise if the City wishes to lower the 8" water line
and if so I will request a quote from our utility contractor. Please
contact the franchise utility company and advise when the fiber optic
line will be relocated. We request credit for contract time as this does
affect the critical path of our schedule. We would like to meet next
week when Robert returns to discuss progress and any other issues that
are unresolved.
