Saturday the road crew was going to grade and smooth out the area from yard
to the sidewalk, they had this huge machine on our drive and broke 2 little
trees one on the top and one split that were along the drive. I asked them
to save the flowers and they did help me get them out of the pile they were
taking away. The bark on the medium size tree along the drive had already
been scraped off. Today they came to dig out where the sidewalk will be and
took the stuff for the sidewalk out and put it on the crepe myrtles along
the front of our yard. Please caution the crews to minimize the damage to
the trees along our yard.
Could you please take a second look at exactly how the sidewalk and the
slope of the yard will be handled? Roots are already exposed and we don't
want to lose any of the trees we have along the sidewalk.
