I'll get this updated and sent over later today for your review. As far as the joints, City standards call for 500 FT Max for expansion and 20 FT max for transverse. I've got a call into Rick to get clarification on the 200 FT for expansion. I believe he did say that. B. Caleb Thornhill, P.E. Are the sidewalks to include Handicap Ramps? How many? What configuration? Brick insets? As stated on pg 5-12, Item # 128, sidewalks include Barrier Free Ramps. Ramps are shown on plans. Use City of Coppell Standard Construction Details to determine configuration and details. 2. Is Bid item 136 Block Sodding only back of curb? Is the balance of the disturbed areas to be subsidiary to erosion control and receive hydromulch? Item 136 includes back of curb and all disturbed areas. 3. Will rock check dams be required for the stormwater outfalls? See storm drain plans for outfall protection. 4. The City Standards specify Transverse Dummy Joints at 20' and Expansion Joints at 600'. The Spec book states Contraction Joints at 20' and Expansion Joints at 200'. The City Inspector said Dummy Joints at 15' and Expansion Joints at 200'. Will Contraction Joint Spacing be at 15' or 20'? Will be addressed in addendum. 5. Can we salvage existing topsoil & reuse it on the project for topsoil? Thoughts?
