Jerod,
Coppell road is currently under construction. The photographs attached to the claim by Mr. Gardner are an accurate
representation of the condition of the driving surface at the time of the damage. City engineering staff has been in contact
with Tiseo Paving, Inc. (contractor) since mid December in an effort to have them repair the condition of this surface. Our
contract with Tiseo Paving places full responsibility for maintenance of a safe travel way on them for the duration of this
project.
I have no opinion as to whether the repairs listed in the claim could have resulted from the condition of the roadway at the
time. I do know that this claim should be filed with Tiseo Paving, Inc. rather than with us.
