The letter dated February 12, 2008 is in regards to the same road (Southwestern Blvd) but a different section of the road than previously contacted about. The project that Gary responded about is Southwestern Blvd EAST of Grapevine Creek up to Denton Tap Rd. The new project is WEST of Grapevine Creek to Coppell Rd. This is a brand new and separate project with a different client just on the other side of the creek from the previous project. We will be removing the current Southwestern Blvd along with the Bridge over Grapevine Creek and will be realigning and widening the road and bridge. The project will include the bridge and Southwestern Blvd west to Coppell Rd. Again, we are under contract by two separate clients for improving Southwestern Blvd East AND West of Grapevine Creek. Our client for this project West of Grapevine Creek is the City of Coppell. Keith Marvin at the city will be setting up a meeting of all the utility companies soon so we can talk about our design. Attached please find a rough profile/design of the project. We are in the process of our detailed design for the section of the road West of the Creek along with the Bridge and are coordinating with all utilities to gather cost estimates and any potential problems/conflicts. We show the gas line to run parallel along Southwestern Blvd. Please review and indicate any crossings and verify your lines. If we need to relocate based on the designed layout, please let us know as well and provide a cost estimate to provide such services. Thank you for your help with this. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this project. David Yeager, EIT Halff Associates.
