Option 1 and Option 2 on the attached are the replacing the bridge with the same section.
Option 2 has a rail between the roadway and sidewalk. We can reduce the bridge deck
thickness by going with a slab beam section (shown as option 3 on the attached}. I need to
know what kind of railing does the City want to go with and, if you choose option 3, do you
want a rail between the sidewalk and roadway. This will increase the bridge width by 2'.
