Thanks again for meeting with us yesterday. We actually performed the signal warrant study for Denton
TaplHighland Drive while Deshazo, Tang and Associates performed the TIA for the site. The Deshazo TIA
primarily focused on the SH 121 frontage road. The only two locations that provides outbound traffic a way to
travel southbound is on the frontage road and at Highland Drive. The developer's (United Commercial
Development) research showed that the majority of the traffic was going to and from Coppell. Therefore, they felt
it was necessary to determine through a traffic study if a signal at Highland Drive would be warranted. The signal
warrant study was too large to a-mail but I will get you a copy early next week.
I will also verify with the developerthe funding and bidding process. However, I believe that we sill suggest one
of the contractors that we discussed yesterday to perform the work. Thanks.
