Bellacere Addition - 300 W Sandy Lake Road Hello Micha, The next step after the engineering reviews is for us to sign and approve the drawings, provided all fees are paid. You would then schedule a preconstruction conference with the city. It is in your best interest to finalize the mentioned items as you move forward with the reviews. Approximately how much time do you need to get the geotechnical report and fire lane finalized? -DiWanna City of Coppell Engineering Department (P)972-304-3562 (F)972-304-3570 »> "fluffy" <michaduffyClcharter.net> 3/27/2008 9:43 AM »> diwanna, two items to discuss. 1, the thickness of paving - we have not completed the geotechnical work and recommendations yet, can i place a notation on the Paving Plan that either the 6" with the lime or a 7" PCC pavement will be used with the geotechnical recommendationsN? (In effect, this is what your standard note currently states "MIN. REQUIREMENTS-UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY CITY ENGINEER") 2, we have not finalized the color/texture/etc on the pavement edge of the fire lane, again, will a note suffice stating that engineering and fire department shall approve the final design of the pavement edgeN? thanks for your time. these are the only two outstanding issues, i would like to get the plans back to you today if possible. yours truly, micha p. fluffy, pe HAMILTON DUFFY, PC 8241 mid cities blvd -suite 100 north richland hills, texas 76180-4759 817.268.0408 -phone 817.284.8408 -fax entail - michaduffyCalcharter.net Page 1 -----Original Message----- From: DiWanna Baskins f mailto:dbaskinsClci.co~pell.tx.us1 Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2008 2:50 PM (8/3112009) DiWanna Baskins - RE: Bellacere Addition - 300 W Sandy Lake Road To: fluffy Cc: Tim Oates Subject: RE. Bellacere Addition - 300 W Sandy Lake Road Micha, Yes, 7" or greater is a viable option. We would need for you to submit a geotechnical report reflecting the same and a letter requesting a waiver if you prefer not to lime stabilize the base. I also spoke with Tim Oates, Deputy Chief with Fire Dept., regarding the fire lane alternatives. We need for you to submit an example(s) of your alternative option(s). So once you narrow them down, we can go from there. Thanks DiWanna Baskins City of Coppell Engineering Department 972-304-3562 »> "fluffy" <michaduffyClcharter.net> 3/5/200811.30 AM »> diwanna, here are a couple of options that we are looking at for the paving/fire lane at Bellacere. when we narrow all of our options, we will contact you to see if the City (engineering and fire protection) is OK with the modifications. question - is pavement thickness increase a valid option in lieu of lime treated baseN? yours truly, micha p. fluffy, pe HAMILTON DUFFY, PC 8241 mid cities blvd -suite 100 north richland hills, texas 76180-4759 817.268.0408 -phone 817.284.8408 -fax entail - michaduffyCalcharter.net Page 2
