DiWanna,
Returning your voice-mail from yesterday....Theflre lane at the Bellacere Addition? If you believe Engineering wants to
enforce the standard, feel free to do so...I was not aware that Engineering looked at the fire lane markings. The
International Fire Code, City Fire Code Ordinance, states the fire lane shall be properly marked with red stripe and white
letters...or similar markings, it also allows signage on posts. I personally believe we should 'buy-off' on something before
approving, with the disclaimer of: if these markings are challenged in city of Coppell Municipal Court, the applicant will be
required to 're-stripe' the fire lane in accordance with the 2006 International Fire Code, City Ordinance 2007-1169.
