Attached is a very skeletal schematic for Heartz Road.
Although the details will be modified as you get engaged in the project, the purpose of this exhibit is to display the overall
function of Heartz Road.
Some of the main focal points of the project that should be further explored include:
1.On-street parking on the west side. (Note 5 should be utilized with this concept)
2. The centerline of the road is moved to the east. It should be displayed visually by the breaks in concrete that run
north/south.
3. The lanes should have equal widths (north and south)
4. Extend curb on the east side to create more separation between sidewalk and street. Possibly not the entire project, but
sections; if applicable.
5. Explore the use of extensions such as chokers/ neckdowns. Explore the possibility of flush extensions.
